SMS Lunch goes Computerized
Monday, February 18th we are training for computerizing our hot lunch program. The program will be up and running on Tuesday, February 20th.
Things you need to know:
- All money that is in your child’s account now will be transferred over to the new software.
- No money will be accepted in the lunch room for lunches, milk or extra milk. If your child(ren) usually purchases milk to go with their cold lunch you will need to prepay into their account.
- Eventually you will be able to pay online. This date is unknown but we will let you know as soon as this portion is up and running.
- Eventually you will be able to view your child(ren)’s account online. You will be able to set up an “alert” e-mail for yourself when your child(ren)’s account gets to certain amount. This date is unknown but we will let you know as soon as this portion is up and running.
- When the online and viewing portion is complete you will be issued a student ID number that you will need to use when viewing or paying online.
- Money will no longer be able to be shared between siblings. When you send lunch money you will need to specify who gets how much. You will still be able to send one check for all of your children. You will just need to note how to split it amongst them.
