Religion
A person’s faith cannot be found in the pages of a textbook. Faith can be discovered and developed by living the word of God, by becoming involved in the community, and by caring about others in the community, classmates, and family members. At St. Mary’s School, we teach our students that allowing Jesus into their lives will enable them to become better Christians.
We do that by allowing students to live out their faith by promoting social peace and justice, and by becoming involved in service projects that assist those in need. We instill in students the idea that they can improve the community in which they live by utilizing their skills and knowledge to promote tolerance, compassion, and social justice.
Ultimately, by combining classroom instruction with liturgical celebration and daily Christian living, our goal is to prepare students to live their life as good Christians and socially responsible adults.
